Pamlico Partnership for Children along with Pamlico System of Care Collaborative are excited to steer this annual community event, we look forward to partnering with those from Pamlico County and the surrounding areas for a fabulous day for children and families. PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS
An Activity! Make it Fun!
Each participating organization is asked to provide a child/family-friendly activity or game such as face painting, spin the wheel, dino-dig, ring toss… If you already have an activity, please indicate below. If you need suggestions on an activity, we will contact you with suggestions. We do not want to duplicate activities/games so we will let you know if your activity does not fit our needs. Each organization is asked to provide all the supplies needed and set up its tent/booth/table on the morning of the event. Bring the fun and excitement when you arrive!

The Cost to Participate- A Donation!

Options for organizations to donate, please select one or more of the following to donate:

  • Two (2) or more large cases of bottled water
  • A large bag/box of individually packaged chips, any flavor.
  • A monetary donation so we can purchase the items for you…. Suggested donation is $00 or more In early May plan to drop off donated items at the Partnership office or arrange a “meet-up” location in the area.

The Rules!

  • Complete the registration form and submit it to Pamlico Partnership (2nd page of this memo)
  • Set up on Saturday, May 18th will begin as early as 8:00 am
  • For safety, unload your vehicle and move it, all cars MUST be moved from the event area by 9:15 am. Volunteers will be available to help unload items and set up, as well as pack up and leaving.
  • DO NOT drive on the high school track.
  • You must provide your setup which is a table, chairs, tent, display, game, prizes, candy, etc.
  • Provide a family/child-friendly activity and if prizes are given, you must provide the prize(s)
  • Make the area you set up fun, and attractive, go out of the way to make it kid and family friendly.
  • After you have set up your area, please reach out to help with other needs at the venue.
  • Commit to stay and support the event for the entire time which is 3 hours plus set up and breakdown.
  • At the end of your stay, clean up the area you occupied and the surrounding area.
  • In the case of inclement weather on the day of the event, you will agree to participate in the event on May 19th  from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm.  In the case the event has to be canceled on either of these days, the event will be canceled altogether, with no rescheduling.
