Strengthening Families Program of Pamlico

The Strengthening Families Program of Pamlico (SFPP) is thrilled to be running the program in-person with many COVID precautions in place. We are partnering with local restaurants to have a meal boxed for each SFP participant, yes they each get a meal and they have menu options! We have a designed cleaning staff who is cleaning before, during and after the program, and all particpants and leaders are diligently trying to practice mask wearing, social distancing and washing hands. So far so good!

SFPP is a 14-week evidence based program for all families, the outcomes are many and include increased and  positive parent-child interaction,   parenting knowledge,  school performance, conflict resolution, communication skills…. The program leaders are committed to families and providing valuable tools to enhance the family connections.

Pamlico Partnership was graciously  funded by The Duke Endowment to implement this difference making program in rural Pamlico County.
The program is now in it’s third year of implementation, it is a win-win for our community.
